Wow! It seems that it could be a full-time job keeping up with sellers making false claims. Another associate of ours has uncovered yet another unscrupulous seller on Flippa.
Now the seller, kramnave is making false claims of unique content.
We think that the way some of these sellers get away with this is that they will find what other sellers are selling and then quickly throw together a website and list it at a much cheaper price. this is very effective as newbie buyers flock to these website, especially those under $100. These also often sell fast as newbie buyers most likely have already bee searching for a site in that niche and jump at the chance to buy one cheaper than any of the others listed on Flippa.
Not only are these types of unscrupulous sellers lying to buyers about the uniqueness of content, they are also using stolen content on the sites they sell.
What does this mean? At the extreme end of things it means that if you buy one of these sites with stolen content you could be sued for copyright infringement…and that, my friend, can get very, very expensive. A $69 or $99 website could then end up costing you thousands of dollars!…and even if you don’t get sued you run the risk of getting your website shut down or your Adsense account banned.
To add insult to injury the seller, kramnave has the audacity to explain why unique content is so important to the buyer!
Based on the way kramnave is conducting business on Flippa we would do not recommend that you do business with this seller.
